Yoke is a soulful, social stay about people and community - a place where guests can build meaningful experiences together. It's like a short-term co-live! Come on your own, in a couple, or even as a small group. We're hidden in plain sight right in the heart of Agonda, tucked back off the main beach road just a just a few steps away from the sparkling Arabian Sea.
All of our 14 rooms are en-suite with boho decor, super-quiet fans, and a palm-fringed balcony - some rooms have AC.
We have three room types - our stone cottages for a rustic solo or couple stay; jungle cottages for nomads looking for a great deal and/or shared experience; and our brand new studio suites for an upleveled premium experience that still offers soft, organic feels and nature's touch.
We've designed and styled all our rooms for comfort and beautiful energetics - it's a noticeable design upgrade from a lot of the more stark cottages in the area, and we've made sure the attention to detail is there in our choice of artwork, toiletries, textures and fragrances. We work with local suppliers, steer away from plastics, and celebrate nature and handmade pieces over generic mass-market aesthetics.
Yoke Goa is a 1 minute walk from the pristine white sands of Agonda’s famous turtle beach and a couple of minutes stroll from an array of wonderful restaurants. We are located a 12 minute rickshaw or scooter ride to indie Patnem and buzzy Palolem, with waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries, beach-cruising boat trips, architectural tours and more all within easy reach.
We are an adult only, cat loving venue, designed for people looking for sanctuary. We are definitely not a party venue and unfortunately can't accept dogs.
THE VIBE
Whilst some occasional events are specifically offered for children when accompanied by parents, we maintain a site where sound is of paramount importance and for this reason we are not able to accommodate residential guests under 18, or any dogs.

We respectfully ask all guests to please support the peace by honouring our zen sound policy and avoiding playing music at a volume that may disturb others.
STUDIO SUITES
Our brand new sexy suites (opened in January 2026) are for those looking for a more premium space to land. At a spacious 27sq/m there's enough room to run around, with king size wooden beds, 8" deep European standard mattresses, velvet sofas that drop into squishy sofa beds OR sheesham wood desks for your digital workspace, textured linen drapes, sweet marble bathrooms and sunshine pouring in. Great for really settling in for longer stays.
Studios 1-4 have 1 x king bed + 1 x sofa bed (which is suitable for 1 person).
Studios 5-6 have 1 x king size bed only, and workspace area instead of the sofa.
RUSTIC COTTAGES
Our 1970s vibes cool rustic Portuguese rooms are a slice of Wes Anderson styling drenched in details across a cosy 12sq/m. Deep European Queen size mattresses top our upcycled palette x bamboo beds, with retro pink ensuite bathrooms, macrame art and new bamboo clothes racks (same as in the studios, but not pictured here as they are new for Sept 2026). Perfect boltholes for personal retreats and solo stays.
Cottages 1-2 have 1 x queen bed and a bit more floor space.
Cottages 3-4 have 1 x queen bed and a kitchenette - no cooking allowed though!
JUNGLE COTTAGES
Our cute wooden huts are designed for more budget-conscious guests - still boasting plenty of details and the same creative touches, bedding and textiles as our Rustic Cottages, but the brushed concrete floors and wooden walls make for a simpler stay. Can be booked solo, or to share - if you are booking into a shared room as a solo traveller we'll match you to a room-mate of the same gender identity - tell us what works for you at point of booking.
Cottages 1 -3 have 2 x single beds, which can be made into a king bed on request.
Cottage 4 has 4 single beds and 2 en suite bathrooms.
A FEW HOUSE RULES
MINIMUM STAY
MINIMUM STAY is 2 NIGHTS AT ANY TIME OF YEAR, and may be adjusted over peak seasons. Amendments to this are at management discretion.
BOOKING TERMS
A 50% deposit is due at point of booking to confirm your stay.
Deposit is returnable if you cancel more than 14 days before your arrival date. If you cancel 7-14 days before arrival date, we will return half your deposit. If you cancel less than 7 days before arrival, you will lose your deposit.
CLASS & ACTIVITY DISCLAIMER
Whilst we strive to ensure that all classes and activities run consistently, sometime things are beyond our control. Teachers can be off sick, travel plans change, power supply can be inconsistent. It's India - we kindly suggest that you go with the flow! We do not offer refunds or discounts on accommodation/stays if a class is unavailable for any reason, and we always do our best to deliver our schedule and activities as advertised.
OCCUPANCY
Please ensure that you book the correct occupancy. If you book for single occupancy and are found to have two people staying in a bed, the balance for double occupancy will be charged.
GROUPS
We welcome small travel groups of up to 4, otherwise groups can only be accepted as a privately hired retreat.
INCLUSIVITY
We are a fully inclusive site, all humans are welcome regardless of nationality, race, religion, marital status or any other parameter. We take infringements against inclusivity very seriously and will not tolerate any abuse of freedoms on our site, from any team member, guest or visitor.
AGE LIMIT
Our accommodation is ADULT ONLY (18+).
The site is intended as a place for peaceful reflection and relaxation, and therefore we do maintain it as adult only. Thanks for understanding that we cannot make exceptions.
ANIMAL & WILDLIFE POLICY
We are a micro-cat sanctuary so to preserve peace for our resident animals (and encourage quieter space for sound sessions and spa experiences) we are not able to have dogs onsite at any time. Please do not encourage beach dogs to follow you into the site.
We are in the tropics and therefore insects and wildlife are part of the experience. Whilst we strive to maintain a high level of comfort in our rooms, we cannot control nature! We have various natural mosquito repellents and take steps during 'mosquito hour' to keep the site as comfortable as possible for you. Please use our refrigerators and cupboards in the kitchen for any food storage - keeping food in your room is not advised and Yoke will not be held responsible for any situations that arise as a result of doing so.
As an animal-loving site, we only use humane repellants, materials and traps.
SMOKING & ALCOHOL
Our site is non-smoking.
We are happy for you to bring alcohol to your room if you like, but please remember that the vibe of Yoke is relaxed retreat rather than party! We are not licensed to sell alcohol onsite.
